Each toy in this shadowbox is individually hand-painted on watercolor paper, carefully cut out, and pinned in place to create a subtle 3D effect. Floating slightly off the background, these 90s treasures feel as if they’ve just been lifted from a childhood bedroom drawer.

The piece invites nostalgia through texture and presence: the soft watercolor edges, the shadows cast by each pinned shape, and the playful arrangement echo the feeling of being a kid surrounded by tiny, magical objects.
